fire after the construction of the church (1304), dedicated Santa Maria to the meadow. On 11/11/1312, when Arrigo VII was removed, the siege of Florence was taken away, the town was destroyed and all the castles of Pesa and Greve were destroyed. In 1339, Ugolino di Nerio, passing through Avignon, painted his last Italian work in the church. The village was again brought to light by Fra Moriale D'Albano in 1354, after Florence completed fortifications in September 1356 turning it into a fortified but prosperous country. The Albergaccio, in 1512, hosted the exile (1512) of Machiavelli where he wrote some of his works. With the Medici, the state became solid: part of the defenses were demolished and San Casciano V.P., became a destination and refreshment "between nature and art". The Della Robbia kilns were born. Some works were left in Chiesavecchia and San Giovanni a Sugana, on the other hand, original works and in the museum of sacred art.
